I'm confused need help what do you think?

I like this man well I love him with my heart & soul. He has said he is not ready for a relationship to much going on in his life right. He tells me he only wants to be friends & why can't I put my feelings for him aside & be friends. I can't go back to being friends with him knowing how I feel. Now here's the thing when he comes over he starts to kiss me passionately & than we make love. when we go anywhere he holds my hand put his arm around. he says one thing but his actions speak louder than his word so i'm confused what this all means. need honest opinions please I'm hurting because I don't understand.
